Hear it straight from the experts in this recap of our latest podcast.

We shared a seriously eye-opening episode in our latest podcast with two incredible women in the wellness space: Grace Terrell, a holistic wellness expert and founder of @_gracefullwellness, and Hannah Campbell, a certified health coach behind @holisticallyhann. Not only are these two ladies well-versed in the science of wellness - they’re also hilarious, down-to-earth, and absolutely fed up with all the noise in the health world.

In this episode, we got real about gut health, hormones, and some of the most persistent wellness myths that just won’t die. If you’ve ever felt bloated for “no reason,” struggled with low energy, or found yourself doom-scrolling wellness TikTok wondering what’s BS and what’s legit, this one’s for you.

Meet Grace & Hannah

Grace comes from a background in holistic wellness with a focus on healing the gut to support the whole body. She’s all about realistic and sustainable health solutions. No fear-mongering or extreme diets on her watch! Hannah brings both sass and science to the table. She’s passionate about using simple, proven methods to help women balance their hormones and avoid burnout. Together, they’re a powerhouse of practical advice and they don’t shy away from the stuff that needs to be said.

Bloating, Burnout & the Gut-Hormone Link

One of the biggest “aha” moments from the chat? Bloating isn’t always about what you’ve eaten. It’s often tied to stress, poor gut health, and hormonal imbalances. Grace explained how the gut acts like a second brain, constantly communicating with your hormones, immune system, and even your mood. So when your gut is off, everything else tends to spiral too.

Hannah added that burnout isn’t just about being tired; it’s an issue that affects your entire system. Hormonal chaos, blood sugar crashes, and even poor digestion can all play a role. And yes, your coffee habit might be making things worse (sorry!).

The Supplement Trap

The ladies also touched on the supplement industry, which even we know is overwhelming at best and shady at worst. Both guests agree: you don’t need a cupboard full of capsules to be healthy. More isn’t always better; megadosing the wrong things can throw your body further off balance. Their advice is to focus on real food, get targeted support with the right supplements, and work with your body rather than against it.

Grace’s go-to supplements for “baseline health” include Liposomal Curcumin and Liposomal Glutathione as you can’t get the levels you need from your diet. She also emphasizes how important it is to get these in a liposomal form for maximum absorption. Hannah adds that “you’re not going to feel it right away” which is why it’s so important to take the supplements consistently and trust in the process. And that trust comes from educating her clients on how they work and what they actually do.

Sugar Cravings & the Ozempic Hype

Sugar cravings were another hot topic of the chat. Grace believes that cravings aren’t just about “willpower”, they’re often a sign that your body’s saying “something’s up”. Whether it's not getting enough protein, poor sleep, or stress hormones like cortisol running wild, there’s usually a root cause behind the sweet tooth. Hannah also shares her experience with eating disorders, how she figured out the sugar-dopamine link is, and how strong that dopamine addiction can be.

With the “weight loss resistance” that Hannah mentions is highly prevalent due to inflammation, we couldn’t skip the conversation around weight-loss injections like Ozempic either. While they’re trendy right now, Hannah urges listeners to ask deeper questions about what long-term health really looks like - because quick fixes rarely address the root issues. Anyone who’s switched from PPIs to resolving acid reflux with our Heartburn Relief Kit knows all about that!

Real Talk, Zero Fluff

This episode is packed with those “wait, WHAT?!” moments and it’ll feel like everything you thought you knew gets flipped on its head. But more importantly, Grace and Hannah offer refreshing, grounded advice that cuts through the confusion in the over-populated world of wellness right now. The primary message is to simplify your life and that being healthy doesn’t have to be hard.

“Ask yourself this question, are you doing what it takes to get to where you need to be?”. - Grace Terrell

If you’re tired of conflicting info, diet fads, and advice overwhelm, this conversation is your reset button. Tune in here to watch the podcast, laugh a little, and walk away with science-backed tips you can actually use in real life right now.
