Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, our client Lilly first discovered her passion for health and fitness through dance, which she pursued from the age of five all the way through college. “Dance was my first love,” she shares, “and it naturally transitioned into fitness.”

Now 59, Lilly resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she’s built an impressive career as a personal trainer and group fitness professional. With over 35 years of experience - and 16 years as the owner of her own fitness studio - Lilly has dedicated her life to helping clients feel their best, both inside and out. “My favorite part of being a trainer is watching people realize they’re stronger than they thought. A Career Pivot Led to Chronic Pain

Lilly’s active lifestyle had always kept her injury-free because she was so in tune with her body. But when the pandemic forced her to pivot to online training, it was just too much for her body to take every day and her right hip started to give her issues. “I was teaching and training online for eight hours a day,” Lilly recalls. “It led to a chronic overuse injury that made even simple movements painful.”
